Following its team-up with emerging U.K. designer Jean-Luc Ambridge, HOKA has tapped on camouflaged Boston-based retailer Bodega to reimagine its winter-ready footwear offerings. The duo previously united on various collaborative projects, setting its touch on a pack of Kaha Lows and ORA Recovery Slides.
Now, Bodega and HOKA craft two colorways of the Tor Ultra Hi And Lo models. The collaboration sees the identity of both brands collide through technology-advanced design reflected in autumnal boot palettes. First, the high-top variation lands in a gloomy purple hue fashioned with technical mesh and suede uppers that brace its wearer against uneasy outdoor conditions. Next, touches of tan, green, and orange adorn the throat areas, while decorative lace holders don linear designs, debossed HOKA lettering is pressed into the medials, and Bodega branding hits the heels. In contrast, the Bodega x HOKA Tor Ultra Lo features GORE-TEX construction for heavy-duty wear, counteracted by perforated tan suede panels, lively mint green accents, and blackened rubber toe caps. Both pairs are completed with VIBRAM sole units for added comfort.
Take a closer look at the Bodega x HOKA collaboration in the gallery above. Both models will be available via Bodega’s website on March 24.
